This heavy crossbow-shaped wondrous item consumes oil to spew flames in a 15-foot cone. It features a tank that can hold up to 1 gallon (8 pints) of oil. Refilling the tank takes 1 minute.

While the tank has at least 1 pint of oil and you're wielding the flamespitter in two hands, you can use an action to consume 1 pint of oil and spew flames in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in this area must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save a creature takes 2d6 fire damage and is ignited, but on a success a creature takes half as much damage and isn't ignited.
