Firebane (5e Equipment)

Weapon (longsword), legendary

An expertly crafted sword, made wholly out of a glassy obsidian. Within the several scrawlings of the hilt and blade pulses a deep red, radiating some form of menace. You have a +2 to attack rolls with this weapon.

Once per turn, when you hit an abberation, celestial, elemental, fey, or fiend with Firebane, their Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution scores decrease by 2, to a minimum of 8. This reduction lasts for a minute, or until a healing spell of 5th level or greater is cast on them.
