Fell Rider's Cloak (5e Equipment)

The fell rider's black cloak hides heavy pelts, furs, and skins of various animals, stitched into a crude suit and blackened by their original owner's fell curse. The light, breathable black cloth worn over the armor drapes all the way down to the wearer's ankles, and hides the wearer's face in shadows.

Darksight. While attuned to the fell rider's cloak, you can see perfectly normally in all darkness, both magical and nonmagical.

Charges. The fell bringer's cloak holds up to 8 charges, 1d6 + 2 of which regenerate daily at dusk. While attuned to it, you can expend charges to create the following effects:

• Nightbringer's Shadow. As an action, you expend two charges and cause darkness to descend in a 90-foot radius sphere centered on yourself. This magical darkness dims all light in the area to dim light for as long as you concentrate, for a maximum duration of one hour. Spells and magical effects of 5th level or higher can suppress or dispel this effect.
• Fell Rider's Steed. As an action, you expend a charge to cause a magical steed resembling a black warhorse, draped in dark fell rider cloth, to appear in an adjacent unoccupied space, as per the find steed spell.
• Greater Darkness. As an action, you expend five charges to cast the greater darkness spell at its lowest level.
• Nondetection and Pass without Trace. As an action, you expend four charges to cast the nondetection and pass without trace spells on yourself.
