Swordbearer Feats

The following feats are available to characters with levels in the Swordbearer classes.

Kenjutsu

Focus on enhancing strength, durability, and speed for the Swordbearer.
Kenjutsu Fundamentals Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 16 or higher. You’ve begun to study the basics of Kenjutsu, learning to use your weapon with precision and fluidity in battle. You gain the following benefits: Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Iaido Strike: As an action, you can spend 2 DF to make a swift weapon strike that deals an additional 1d6 slashing damage. If this attack hits, you gain advantage with attacks you make against the same target until the end of your next turn. Kenjutsu Flow: When you take the Dodge action, you can make an unarmed strike or weapon attack as a free action. Advanced Iaido Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 18 or higher and must have the Kenjutsu Fundamentals feature. You have mastered the fluid motion of drawing and striking in one swift motion. You gain the following benefits: Iaido Mastery: When you use Iaido Strike, it now deals an additional 2d6 slashing damage instead of 1d6. Perfect Draw: If you roll a crit on an Iaido Strike, you can immediately make another melee attack against the same target as part of the same action. Death Blossom Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 18 or higher and must have the Kenjutsu Fundamentals feature. You have mastered the art of the one-strike, multiple kill technique, cutting down foes in an instant. You gain the following benefits: Crimson Arc: When you use your Iaido Strike, you can spend 4 additional DF to attack up to three creatures within 10 feet in a single motion. Lethal Precision: If you reduce a creature to 0 HP with a melee attack on your turn, your next attack within the same turn is made with advantage. Flowing Blade Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 16 or higher. You have learned to keep your blade in constant motion, cutting through multiple foes with precision. You gain the following benefits: Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Cleave Through: When you reduce an enemy to 0 HP, you can make another attack against a different target within 5 feet as a free action. Evasive Guard: If an enemy misses you with a attack while you are wielding a sword, you can spend 2 DF to make an immediate counterattack as a reaction. Unavoidable Cut Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 16 or higher. You have mastered the art of striking so precisely that your opponent doesn’t immediately realize they’ve been cut. You gain the following benefits: Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Unavoidable Cut: If a creature is unaware of your presence or if you hit a creature that is not targeting you, your attack ignores resistances and deals an extra 1d6 slashing damage. Mirage Cut Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 16 or higher. You have learned how to move with such speed that your strikes create illusions, making it difficult for enemies to react. You gain the following benefits: Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Illusory Strikes: When you make a melee attack, you can spend 3 DF to create a phantom afterimage of your attack. The target must make an Intelligence saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier). On a failed save, the target cannot take reactions until the start of their next turn. Blurred Blade: When you make the first attack on your turn, you can choose to roll the attack twice and use either result. You can use this effect once per short or long rest unless you spend 4 DF to use it again. Sundering Arc Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity score of 16 or higher. You have mastered a sword technique capable of cutting through even the most resilient defenses. You gain the following benefits: Your Strength or Dexterity score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Armor Rend: When you hit a creature wearing armor, you can spend 5 DF to weaken their defenses. The target's AC is reduced by 2 until the end of their next turn. Weapon Breaker: If you score a critical hit on a creature holding a weapon, they must make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or drop their weapon.

Divine Flow Attack Feats

Harnessing divine energy, a Swordbearer enhances their ranged attacks, improving accuracy, power, and agility.
Divine Flow Barrage Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence or Wisdom score of 16 or higher. You have learned to create and suspend multiple projectiles of Divine Flow, unleashing them when the time is right. You gain the following benefits: Your Intelligence or Wisdom score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. As an action, you can spend 4 Divine Flow (DF) to create up to three floating energy bullets that hover around you for up to 1 minute. These bullets remain idle until one of the following conditions is met: Attack Trigger: When you hit a creature with a weapon or spell attack, you can fire one of the bullets at them, dealing 1d8 radiant damage (no action required). Defensive Retaliation: If a creature hits you with an attack, you can fire one bullet at them as a reaction, dealing 1d8 radiant damage. Manual Fire: On your turn, as a bonus action, you can fire any number of bullets at a target within 60 feet. Each bullet requires a separate attack roll using either wis or int modifier for it and the damage rolls, dealing 1d8 radiant damage on a hit. Scatter Shot Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence or Wisdom score of 16 or higher. You unleash a spread of radiant energy, striking multiple enemies in a cone. You gain the following benefits: Your Intelligence or Wisdom score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. As an action, you can spend 4 Divine Flow (DF) to unleash a scatter shot in a 15-foot cone. Each creature within the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 3d6 radiant damage and is blinded until the end of their next turn. On a successful save, they take half damage and are not blinded. Attack Trigger: When you hit a creature with a weapon or spell attack, you can fire one of the bullets at them, dealing 1d8 radiant damage (no action required). Defensive Retaliation: If a creature hits you with an attack, you can fire one bullet at them as a reaction, dealing 1d8 radiant damage. Manual Fire: On your turn, as a bonus action, you can fire any number of bullets at a target within 60 feet. Each bullet requires a separate attack roll using either wis or int modifier for it and the damage rolls, dealing 1d8 radiant damage on a hit. Piercing Lance Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence or Wisdom score of 16 or higher. You can create a powerful projectile, striking a foes with a single shot. You gain the following benefits: Your Intelligence or Wisdom score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. As an action, you can spend 5 Divine Flow (DF) to fire a luminous lance that travels in a straight line up to 90 feet. You make a Divine Flow attack roll, using either your Wisdom or Intelligence modifier for both the attack and damage rolls. if the attack lands you deal 3d8 radiant damage and is pushed back 10 feet. Focused Beam Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence or Wisdom score of 16 or higher and also must have landed 3 Basic Divine Flow Attack one after another single day. You have refined your ability to project Divine Flow into a focused, devastating beam. You gain the following benefits: Your Intelligence or Wisdom score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. You can spend 4 Divine Flow (DF) to unleash a focused beam of Divine Flow as an action. The beam is a 45-foot line that is 5 feet wide. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 3d6 radiant damage, or half as much on a successful save. Divine Flow Detonation Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence or Wisdom score of 18 or higher and you must have killed 6 creatures with the enhanced version of the Basic Divine Flow Attack via the Enlightening Strike. You have gained the ability to expel your Divine Flow into a explosion. You gain the following benefits: You can spend 6 Divine Flow (DF) to unleash a 15-foot radius explosion of Divine Flow as an action with a range of 60 feet. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, a creature takes 4d8 radiant damage, or half as much on a success. Divine Flow Annihilation Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence or Wisdom score of 20 or higher and must have killed two creatures with a single use of Divine Flow Detonationa. You have surpassed the limits of Divine Flow, achieving a devastating, near-inescapable explosion of divine power. You gain the following benefits: You have pushed Divine Flow to its absolute limit, creating an explosion so intense that survival is nearly impossible. As an action, you can spend 10 Divine Flow (DF) to unleash a 40-foot radius explosion of pure destructive force with a range of 90 feet. Creatures within 15 feet of the epicenter automatically fail their saving throw and take full damage. All other creatures within the area must make a Dexterity saving throw (DC = 10 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier). On a failed save, they take 10d8 radiant damage. On a successful save, they take half damage. This ability can only be used once per long rest unless you spend an additional 10 DF to use it again.

Body Feats

A Swordbearer enhances their physical prowess, increasing strength, durability, and speed for improved combat effectiveness.
Lightning Reflexes Prerequisites: Must have 16 Dexterity or higher. Your unmatched agility and quick reflexes set you apart from others, allowing you to react swiftly in any situation. You gain the following benefits: Your Dexterity score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Your movement speed increases by 10 feet. You gain an additional reaction each round, allowing you to respond more effectively in combat situations. Unyielding Resilience Prerequisites: Must have 16 Constitution or higher. Your exceptional toughness and resilience make you a formidable presence on the battlefield, capable of enduring significant hardship. You gain the following benefits: Your Constitution score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. You add your Constitution modifier an additional time when calculating hit points gained per level. You gain advantage on saving throws against being poisoned or exhausted. Vital Surge Prerequisites: Must have 16 Constitution or higher and used the Rejuvenating Pulse ability at least twice in combat Your mastery over Divine Flow allows you to harness its restorative properties, healing your wounds and fortifying your body. You gain the following benefits: You can now use your Rejuvenating Pulse as a bonus action and add your constitution modifier to the healing. Additionally reduce the cost for this by 1. Shielding Aura Prerequisites: Must have 16 Constitution or higher and must have reduced damage by 6 using the Shield of Light ability at least twice in combat. Your mastery of Divine Flow allows you to create a protective aura around yourself and your allies. You gain the following benefits: As a reaction when an ally within 10 feet of you is hit by an attack, you can spend 1/2/3 Divine Flow (DF) to reduce the damage taken by 2/4/6. Unyielding Will Prerequisites: Must have been knocked unconscious in combat and recovered through any means, and survived the encounter. The strength of your willpower keeps you fighting even when your body falters. You refuse to stay down, drawing on reserves of inner energy to defy defeat. You gain the following benefits: Your Constitution score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Once per long rest, when you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can as a free action spend 5 DF and regain hit points equal to a quarter of your maximum hit points.

Divine Flow Feats

Divine Flow Reservoir Prerequisites: Must have 14 Constitution or higher and have used up atleast 2/3 of your maximum Divine Flow rounded down in a single day. You have tapped into a deeper well of Divine Flow, allowing you to store and harness more of it. You gain the following benefits: You will add your Constitution modifier and proficiency bonus one additional time when determining your Divine Flow. Once per long rest, when you roll initiative and have no Divine Flow remaining, you regain proficiency + con mod in DF. Your Constitution score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Efficient Energy Use Prerequisites: Must have 14 Constitution or higher. Your mastery of Divine Flow allows you to utilize it more efficiently, reducing the cost of your ranged attacks. You gain the following benefits: You can reduce the Divine Flow (DF) cost of your ranged attacks by half (rounded down), to a minimum cost of 1 DF. This reduction applies to all ranged attacks you use Bonded Companionship Prerequisites: Must have 14 Wisdom or higher. You have learned to forge a connection with creatures in your environment. You gain the following benefits if your a way of the Sacred Beast: If you are a member of the Way of the Sacred Beast subclass, you may bond with an additional creature, allowing for a total of two bonded creatures. Otherwise you gain the following: You can make an Animal Handling check DC equal to 10 + CR of the creature to pacify a wild creature and have it follow you as a companion. The creature will act on your turn during combat and will be treated as friendly toward you. Divine Flow Transference Prerequisites: Must have 14 Constitution or higher You can now share your Divine Flow with others to bolster their strength. You gain the following benefits: As a bonus action, you can transfer a number of Divine Flow points equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) to a creature within 30 feet of you. The creature can immediately use this Divine Flow as if it were their own, with the same limitations on its use as if they had spent it themselves.

Soulspan Feats

Soulspan Fortitude Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution score of 14 or higher. Your body's resilience and connection to your soul are strengthened, allowing you to draw more Soulspan from your very being. Your Soulspan is no longer solely reliant on your lifespan, but is enhanced by your Constitution and growth as a warrior. You gain the following benefit: Your Soulspan calculation is modified by your Constitution score multiplied by your proficiency bonus. So adding onto your starting soulspan points (Which should be 200) you can add to the calculation with this constitution score multiplied by your proficiency.

Malborne Feats

Predatory Feats

The body is one of the most important things for a sorcerer, his strength, durability and speed can be improved here.
Rattlebreaker Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 16 or higher and must have the Fists biology from the mutation list. Once per turn when you hit a creature with a Crushing Fist, you can force it to make a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your Strength modifier + proficiency bonus) or have disadvantage on its attack rolls until the end of its next turn. Savage Pounce Prerequisites: Must have a Strength and Dexterity score of 14 or higher and must have the Claws biology from the mutation list. As a bonus action, you can leap up to 20 feet toward a creature. If you land within melee range, make a claw attack that deals an additional 1d8 damage. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. Razor Frenzy Prerequisites: Must have a Strength and Dexterity score of 16 or higher and must have the Claws biology from the mutation list. As an action, you can unleash a wild flurry of claw attacks. Make a number of claw attacks equal to your proficiency bonus, each made with disadvantage. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a short or long rest. Savage Bite Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 14 or higher and must have the Bite biology from the mutation list. When you make a bite attack, you can choose to either grapple the target on a successful hit or deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage if the target is below half their hit points. Hardened Defense Prerequisites: Must have a Strength and Dexterity score of 16 or higher and must have the Hardened Hide biology from the mutation list. As a reaction, when you are hit by an attack, you can activate your hardened hide, increasing your AC by 2 against that attack. Additionally, if the attack misses, you can deal 1d6 slashing damage to the attacker. Winged Dash Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity score of 14 or higher and must have the Wings biology from the mutation list. You can use your wings to quickly maneuver. As a bonus action, you can Dash without provoking opportunity attacks. Additionally, if you Dash through a creature's space, they must make a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. Venomous Spray Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity and Intelligence score of 14 or higher and must have the Poisonous Spit biology from the mutation list. As a reaction to being targeted by an attack, you can leap back 15 feet, avoiding the attack's range. After jumping, you can make a ranged venom spit attack against any target within 15 feet of your original position. Tentacle Whip Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 14 or higher and must have the Flesh Tentacles biology from the mutation list. As a bonus action, you can lash out with your tentacles, making a melee attack with a range of 10 feet. On a hit, the target’s speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of your next turn. Regenerative Surge Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution score of 14 or higher and must have the Healing tissue biology from the mutation list. For each specific source of damage you've been hit by, you heal additional hit points based on the number of hits: Hit once: Add 1d4 to your healing. Hit three times: Add 2d4 to your healing. Hit five times: Add 3d4 to your healing. Dark Sight Prerequisites: Must have a Wisdom score of 14 or higher and must have the Nightvision biology from the mutation list. You can see through magical darkness as if it were dim light. Additionally, you have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks to detect hidden creatures within 60 feet. Prehensile Tail Grapple Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 14 or higher and must have the Prehensile Tail biology from the mutation list. As a bonus action, you can use your tail to make a melee attack. If the target is Large or smaller, you can attempt to grapple them as part of the same attack. Also adding your proficiency to the grapple roll. Mind-Lock Gaze Prerequisites: Must have a Strength or Dexterity and Wisdom score of 14 or higher and must have the Penetrating Gaze biology from the mutation list. While grappling a creature, you can force them to stare directly into your eyes. As a full round action, you may activate your Penetrating Gaze against a creature you are grappling. On the creatures turn it needs to makes a wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your Wisdom modifier + proficiency bonus), on a failed save, in addition to the normal damage, the target is stunned until the start of your next turn. Eye Lance Prerequisites: Must have a Wisdom score of 16 or higher and must have the Penetrating Gaze biology from the mutation list. As an action, you may target a creature within 30 feet. The target must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, they take 2d8 psychic damage and have disadvantage on their next attack roll before the end of their next turn. On a success, they take half damage and suffer no additional effects. Galloping Momentum Prerequisites: Must have a Strength and Dexterity score of 14 or higher and must have the Horse Legs biology from the mutation list. You don’t provoke opportunity attacks when moving through a creature’s reach. If you move at least 20 feet in a straight line, you can make a kick attack with your hind legs that deals 1d8 bludgeoning damage and knocks the target prone on a failed Strength saving throw. Horned Momentum Prerequisites: Must have a Strength and Dexterity score of 14 or higher and must have the Goat Horns biology from the mutation list. If you hit a creature with your Ram Attack after moving at least 10 feet straight toward them, you can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks. This movement can pass through the target if they are your size or smaller, and does not count against your movement for the turn. Spinal Burst Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity score of 14 or higher and must have the Spiky Back biology from the mutation list. When a creature ends its turn within 5 feet of you, you can use a bonus action to launch a spike at them. Make a ranged attack roll; on a hit, the target must succeed on a Dexterity or Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus) or take 1d8 piercing damage and be pushed 10 feet away. Explosive Venting Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution score of 16 or higher and must have the Fire-Breathing Organ from the mutation list. When you take damage from a melee attack, you can use your reaction to release a burst of searing gas. The attacker must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus) or take 2d6 fire damage and have disadvantage on their next attack roll. Rending Maul Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 16 or higher and must have the Trio Growth from the mutation list. If you have a creature grappled, you can use your action to bite down with all your heads. Make a separate bite attack for each head against the grappled creature. On a hit, each attack deals normal bite damage. If at least two attacks hit, the target cannot take reactions until the start of your next turn.

Enhancement Feats

Shadow Strike Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 14 or higher. When you attack a creature, you can spend 1 DF to deal an additional 1d6 necrotic damage. Brutal Charge Prerequisites: Must have a Strength score of 16 or higher. When you take the Dash action, you can spend 1 DF to force any creature you pass within 5 feet of to make a Strength saving throw against your Strength modifier (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier). On a failed save, the creature is knocked prone. Necrotic Surge Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity and score of 14 or higher. You can spend 1 DF to boost your movement speed by 20 feet until the end of your turn. Swift Reaper Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity and score of 14 or higher. When you take the Dodge action, you can spend 1 DF to gain advantage on the next attack roll you make before the end of your turn. Phantom Step Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity and score of 16 or higher. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 DF to gain advantage on your ability check that relies on Dexterity before the end of your turn. Undying Fury Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution and score of 14 or higher. When you drop to half your hit points or less, you can spend 1 DF as a free action to gain temporary hit points equal to your constitution modifier. Mind Over Muscle Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence and score of 16 or higher. As a reaction when a creature within 30 feet of you makes an attack against you, you can spend 1 DF as a free action to impose disadvantage on that attack roll. this can occur once per turn and a number of uses equal to your proficiency bonus.). Tactical Insight Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence and score of 16 or higher. When you or an ally within 30 feet makes an attack roll, you can spend 1 DF as a free action to grant them advantage on the attack roll once per turn and a number of uses equal to your proficiency bonus. Grim Focus Prerequisites: Must have a Wisdom and score of 14 or higher. When you take the Dodge action, you can spend 1 DF to gain advantage on the next attack roll you make before the end of your turn.

Necrotic Flow Attack Feats

Dark Barrage Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence score of 14 or higher. You can use an action to unleash a flurry of necrotic bolts. Spend 2 DF to make a ranged spell attack against up to three creatures within 30 feet. Each bolt deals 1d6 necrotic damage. Vile Strike Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence score of 14 or higher. As a bonus action, you can spend 1 DF to fire a projectile of Necrotic Flow at a creature within 30 feet. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d10 necrotic damage. On a successful save, the target takes half damage. Withering Chains Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence score of 14 or higher. You conjure ethereal chains of decay. Choose one creature within 30 feet. After spending 3 NF, The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + your intelligence modifier) or take 2d6 necrotic damage and become restrained until the end of your next turn. A creature restrained by these chains can use its action to make another Strength saving throw, ending the effect on a success. Necrotic Burst Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence score of 16 or higher. As a bonus action, you can expend 2 DF to release a burst of necrotic energy in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Constitution saving throw or take 2d8 necrotic damage, half on a successful save. This damage increases by 1d6 for each additional DF spent up to your proficiency. Reaping Slash Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence score of 16 or higher. You channel Necrotic Flow into a deadly slash. As an action and for 3 NF, make a melee weapon attack. On a hit, the target takes an additional 3d8 necrotic damage. Soulflay Gaze Prerequisites: Must have a Intelligence score of 20 or higher. As an action and after spending 6 NF, you unleash a concentrated beam of Necrotic Flow from your eyes at a creature within 30 feet. The target must make a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + proficiency bonus + your intelligence modifier). On a failed save, the creature takes 4d10 necrotic damage and has disadvantage on saving throws against your abilities until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and suffers no additional effect.

Body Feats

Necrotic Fortification Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution score of 14 or higher. As a bonus action, you can spend 2 NF to activate a defensive aura that reduces incoming damage by an amount equal to your proficiency bonus. This effect lasts until the start of your next turn, providing enhanced resilience against attacks. Reflexive Evolution Prerequisites: Must have a Dexterity score of 14 or higher. You gain an additional reaction on your turn. This reaction can be used to take any action that would normally trigger a reaction, such as an opportunity attack or to use another feature that requires a reaction. You can only use this additional reaction once per turn. Adaptive Mutation Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution and Intelligence score of 14 or more and must have taken damage from a specific source that equals 4/5 of your maximum hit points. When you take damage from a specific source (e.g., fire, cold) as an reaction, you can spend 2 NF to gain resistance to that damage type until the start of your next turn. Iron Skin Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution score of 14 or higher and must have endured combat against a human that reduced your health to at least half of your maximum hit points. When you are hit by a melee attack, you can spend 1 NF to reduce the damage by half. You have an amount of uses equal to your Constitution modifier. Ferocious Vitality Prerequisites: Must have a Constitution score of 16 or higher and must have endured combat against a human that reduced your hit points to 25% or less of your maximum. When you drop to 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to spend 3 NF and drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
