Fallen Meteor (5e Spell)

Fallen Meteor
5th-level evocation (ritual)
Casting time: 1 action
Range: 300 feet
Components: V, S, M (a piece of rock from an earth elemental or an ember from a fire elemental)
Duration: Instantaneous

A bright streak of light appears in the sky: a meteorite heated to incandescence in the atmosphere, which you direct to a point within range. Each creature in a 30-foot-radius sphere centered on the point of impact must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d6 bludgeoning damage plus 4d6 fire damage and is knocked prone. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't knocked prone.

As Ritual. When casting this spell as a ritual, the impact radius increases to 60 feet. The fire and bludgeoning damage both increase to 6d6. On a failed save a creature is both deafened and knocked prone.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the radius increases by 5 feet for each slot level above 5th.
