Made in imitation of the fiend's pike that inspired the design, this polearm hides a spring-loaded mechanism that allows one to extend or retract it at a moment's notice.

Trick Weapon. As a bonus action, you may press a button the extension spear's haft to unlock its springloaded mechanism and lengthen it, or pull back on the haft to lock it back into its normal form. In its extended form, the extension spear has the two-handed and reach properties.
