The next time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack during this spell’s duration, your weapon becomes ablaze in necrotic-type flame and on a successful attack, your weapon deals an additional 2d8 necrotic damage. Additionally, the target must pass a Constitution saving throw or be marked with the brand for the spell's duration, while the creature is marked, fiends and devils deal an additional 1d8 fire damage and know where the marked target is at all times, provided the devil or fiend has seen the target within duration of the brand. In addition, the branded creature has disadvantage on Constitution saving throw for the spell's duration.
