this weapon looks like an ordinary crossbow to most, but the limb is made of an unusually sturdy metal. in an instant, the object transforms from a crossbow to a pickaxe, the inner mechanisms locking within.

Swap As a reaction or bonus action, you may switch the weapon from a crossbow to a pickaxe, or vice versa. the pickaxe is a versatile (1d6) tool that can also deal 1d4 piercing damage. the crossbow is a heavy ranged 1d4 piercing weapon with a range of 25 feet. the mechanism that causes these to switch is entirely mechanical, and thus is not effected by anti magic fields or similar magics.
