This one-handed sword is incredibly wide and thick for a sword of its size. Its true nature comes to light when a button on its handle causes the mechanism within the blade to release and unfold, transforming into a compact metal crossbow.

Trick Weapon. As a bonus action, you may deploy the crossblade into its crossbow form or back again into its sword form. While in crossbow form, the crossblade is identical to a hand crossbow.
