Cobra's Spit (5e Spell)

You grow a set of poison-producing organs in the back of your throat for the duration. When you cast this spell and as a bonus action on each of your subsequent turns, you can use these organs to spit venom towards a creature within 30 feet that you can see. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 3d8 poison damage and is poisoned until the end of its next turn.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
