Cijelese in Grisaire (Grisaire Supplement)

The cijelese are a race of humanoids with plant-like features. They are likened to a cross between elves and dryads. Scholars have deduced they do share a fey ancestry with that of elves, but they are also a derivative descendant of a common ancestor with dryads. The cijelese are an ancient race, having originated from the Endix continent. Their nation of Cijel is where they got their name. Cijel was a large city-state with territory that spanned across modern day Zesh and Igribus. Following the March of Gears, Cijel was devastated and the cijelese fled south. They rebuilt their civilization in the islands of Doru, where they reside to this day.
