Chuninbyo (3.5e Disease)

This disease though little concern to an adventurer does ravage commoner's in droves. After incubation during which warning signs include muttering to oneself, a sudden interest in writing and tailoring and newfound but clumsy confidence. Once the illness takes hold the subject is lead astray by delusions of grandeur such as a past life as royalty, a powerful ancestor or a sudden access to the weave. Victims of this disease will feel compeled by their newfound calling to set out on adventures much like a normal adventurer full of the confidence that they shall succeed. The disease lasts until cured by a remove disease spell.
