Crescent Centaurs

Crescent centaurs are the smallest of the centaurs, but are strong, proud fighters, known for their great endurance. They average 7 feet tall and 1,000 pounds heavy. Their faces have a slightly equine shape and they have pointed, rotatable ears. They wear loose, airy clothing which covers their bodies almost entirely, well suited to their sun-baked desert homelands.

Religion

The god of centaurs is known as Skerrit the Forester. He is a Neutral deity with Chaotic Good tendencies. His symbol is an oak growing from an acorn. Skerrit is also worshipped by satyrs and sylvan elves who are neutral in alignment.

Names

Crescent centaurs have a given forename and a family surname. Honorary titles are common, such as "Defender of X" or "Explorer of Y."

Large Size: As a Large size creature, crescent centaurs get a –1 penalty to Armor Class, –1 penalty on attack rolls, –4 penalty on Hide checks, +4 bonus on grapple checks, and their lifting and carrying limits are double those of Medium characters.
Space/Reach: 10 feet/5 feet.
Crescent centaur base land speed is 50 feet.
Weapon Proficiency: Crescent centaurs receive the Martial Weapon Proficiency feats for the scimitar, lance, longbow (including composite longbow), and shortbow (including composite shortbow) as bonus feats.
Automatic Languages: Sylvan, Common. Bonus Languages: Elven, Halfling, Orc, Gnoll, Gnome
Favored Class: Ranger. A multiclass crescent centaur’s ranger class does not count when determining whether he takes an experience point penalty for multiclassing.
