A buckler is a small metal shield strapped to the forearm, allowing the hand to hold an item. While you are wielding this buckler your Armor Class increases by 1 against any ranged attack and increased by half your Dexterity modifier, rounded up against any melee attack.
You can only benefit from one shield at a time.
