Buckler, Variant (5e Equipment)

Buckler

A buckler is a small metal shield held in a fist grip. As it is not strapped, it can be donned or doffed as easily as drawing or stowing a weapon. While wielding this buckler, your Armor Class increases by 2 against melee weapon attacks, but increases only by 1 otherwise.
