These disgusting abominations are just simple scavengers. They forage for food at the bottom of fetid lakes and bogs, largely ignoring other creatures until their food is messed with. Brumps are commonly dismissed as a type of giant frog and so aren't very well-known to researchers. It is known, however, that they are surprisingly light and agile, being able to skip with ease over the water.
