You hurl an orb of blood at a creature or object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 5d6 necrotic damage and is poisoned until the end of your next turn.
At the beginning of the poisoned creature's next turn, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, it can't take the Attack action this turn as it is sickened by the blood.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 4th.
