Bladed tonfas are a deadly variant of the ordinary tonfa, adding sharp blades that run along the wielder's arms. The fighting style of bladed tonfas emphasizes multiple rapid strikes using a dedicated pair.

Paired Weapon. Bladed tonfas are designed to be wielded as a pair. When you use an action to attack with a bladed tonfa and then use your bonus action to make a two-weapon fighting attack with a bladed tonfa in your other hand, you can add your proficiency bonus to the attack's damage if you are proficient with bladed tonfas.
