Blade of Warding (5e Equipment)

Weapon (All), Rare +1, Very Rare +2, Legendary +3 (requires attunement)

This blade has 2 magically linked permanent glyphs of warding. These glyphs can be charged during a long rest to house 2 uses of one spell on a trigger the user decides upon.

This blade allows its user to place 2 uses of a level 3 or lower spell upon it. Then it will cast the spell upon the user's command or upon a set trigger. (eg. You prepare the shield spell allowing you to use shield 2 times per long rest without having to use your own spell slots.) The caster must expend 2 spell slots of the same spell level to recharge the glyphs but they remain charged until used.
