When this magic weapon is found it has no charges, and can have a maximum of 8. Delivering a killing blow to a creature that is not a construct or undead with at least an Intelligence score of 3 adds one charge to this weapon. As an action, you can expend 5 charges to cast the spirit guardians spell as if you were of evil alignment. Also as an action, you can expend 8 charges to cast the death ward spell on yourself.
