This whip has several blades attached to it, that hook the target on impact

Special. When you hit a creature that is not wearing armor heavier than light with this whip, the creature is hooked. A hooked creature can use its Action to disentangle the blades.

On your turn, you can forgo one of your attacks to pull the whip, slashing the target automatically (no attack required), causing 1d6 slashing and 1d6 piercing damage. Doing so disentangle the target.
