Swarm Instinct. The Batrunner gains +1 to attack rolls for each ally within 10 feet of the target (max +3).

Cracked Core. The mana core inside a Batrunner is unstable. When the Batrunner dies, roll a d6. On a 6, it detonates, dealing 1d4 force damage to all creatures within 5 feet.

Hollowform Vision. Can see through darkness (magical and nonmagical) up to 60 feet, but cannot perceive color—only movement and shape.

Actions

Claw Slash. Melee Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft, one target. Hit: 5 (1d6 + 2) slashing damage.

Group Rend (Recharge 5–6). If at least 3 Batrunners are adjacent to the same creature, one may use this ability: The target must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 7 (2d6) slashing damage and be knocked prone.
