Aspect of the Crucible: Tail
2nd-level Transmutation
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: S, M (tip of a dragon's tail)
Duration: Instantaneous

You create a strong tail that sweeps through foes. All creatures within 5ft must succeed a Strength saving throw or take 3d6 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. A creature that succeeds the save takes half damage and is not knocked {prone.

As part of casting this spell, you can also use your bonus action to charge the spell. When you do so, the damage dice become d8's and the spell reaches out to 10ft.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6, or 1d8 if charged, for each slot level above 2nd.
