Casting time: 1 reaction, which you take when you get hit by a ranged weapon attack

Duration: 1 round

The spell captures some of the force of the incoming missile, lessening its damage on you and storing it for your next ranged attack. You have resistance to the triggering damage from the triggering attack. Also, the first time you hit a ranged attack on your next turn, you gain a 2d6 bonus to the damage roll, and the spell ends.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd-Level or higher, the extra damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
