- Fighter Feats::Fighter feats are those that pertain to skill in martial combat. Fighters may choose among these feats as one of their fighter bonus feats. These feats are also available to characters from other classes who meet the prerequisites, unless otherwise specified.
- Narrow Fighter Feat Categories
- Melee & Ranged Attack Feats – These feats improve any kind of attack, both melee and ranged.
- Melee Attack Feats – These feats improve your ability with melee attacks (not ranged attacks, not attacks of opportunity, and not disarm/trip/feint attacks).
- Ranged Attack Feats – These feats improve your ability with ranged attacks.
- Defensive Feats – These feats make you harder to hit, or otherwise improve your defenses. A feat is listed here even if it only applies, say, while using a ranged weapon.
- Chosen Weapon Feats – These only work with one weapon of choice, similar to Weapon Focus.
- Mounted Feats – These feats improve your ability in mounted combat.
- Attack of Opportunity Feats – These feats provide new attacks of opportunity or improve your chances with opportunity attacks.
- Special Fighter Feats – These feats improve your abilities with special attacks, such as bull rush, disarm, grapple, overrun, sunder, and trip attacks, and feinting in combat.
- Combat Form feats are part of a feat chain that was introduced in the Player's Handbook II. All of these have the feat Combat Focus as prerequisite.
- Other Fighter Feats – This is a catch-all for fighter feats that do not fit any of the above categories. This includes feats related to flanking and initiative.
