• Follow the Leader: Twisted Path may well have been the first fanfic to send its main character merrily bouncing from fictional setting to fictional setting (almost all of them Anime series) within a larger Multiverse. (If it wasn't the Trope Maker, then it certainly was the Trope Codifier.) It made a major impact on mid- to late-1990s anime fanfiction, and inspired numerous imitators and tributes, including The Bubblegum Zone, Legion's Quest and Drunkard's Walk.
