- Alternate Character Interpretation: At various points in the series you're going to be looking at Oji as anything from a god of ROCK unjustly trapped in a fleshy cubicle prison to a lovable putz to a philandering asshole who refuses to take his heads out of the clouds.
- Narm: The most dramatic wrist sprain ever.
- Also Japanese-wise, the scene where a Scary Black Man beat the crap out of Watanabe got seriously ruined with the flat delivery of the English VA despite having a Surprisingly Good English and tons of Cluster F-Bomb. This is thankfully fixed in the dub by giving the role to Beau Billingslea with hams aplenty in a way that makes Samuel L. Jackson proud.
