Brad Boimler

A goody two shoes who aspires for a higher rank. He can be somewhat cowardly, but when push comes to shove he tends to do the right thing.

Sam Rutherford

A newly made cyborg. He works in engineering and has a bubbly personality.

- Cyborg: A newly minted one, his implant gives him a variety of abilities.
- The Engineer: Is the only main character in engineering.
- We Can Rebuild Him: He had his implant forced on him without consent following an accident. The implant suppressed his memories, making him think it was an elective procedure.
D'Vana Tendi

An Orion new to Starfleet, starting out in Medical.

- Action Girl: Tendi is an extremely capable fighter.
- Adorkable: Frequently geeks out over relatively benign things, such as dogs or the beach.
- Badass: She is an extremely capable fighter.
- Experienced Protagonist: Among Orion society she is well known, respected, and feared due to her experience working in piracy in an Orion Syndicate.
- Green-Skinned Space Babe: Tendi is a green skinned alien woman, but otherwise significantly downplays this trope. She often tries to downplay Orion stereotypes, and dresses like everyone else for the most part.
