Spycraft: The Great Game/YMMV
These things about Spycraft: The Great Game are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.
- Spiritual Successor: Activision's own Call of Duty franchise is seen by some as a spiritual successor to Spycraft in terms of storytelling and the political thriller-slash-Cold War narratives seen in the Black Ops and Modern Warfare series. Of particular note is the company's controversial hiring of retired United States Marine Corps lieutenant colonel Oliver North as a consultant for Black Ops II, who also made a cameo in said game, which paralleled that of Spycraft and its casting of Colby and Kalugin. Both North and Colby and Kalugin were heavily criticised during and after their service careers.
