Saints Row: The Third
The third in the Saints Row series.
Some time after Saints Row 2, the Saints have become celebrities. A bank heist goes wrong when the target turns out to be run by The Syndicate, a triumvirate of gangs based out of the city of Steelport, and whose leader Phillipe Loren "invites" the Saints for talks afterwards. What happens next has the Boss bent on seizing Steelport as payback.
Tropes used in Saints Row: The Third include:
- Anyone Can Die: Gat dies in the first act except not really according to IV, Killbane kills Kiki, and depending on which choice you make, Burt Reynolds, Shaundi, and Viola can be killed by STAG.
- Jiggle Physics: The Penetrator in Saints Row: The Third is essentially a large rubber dildo, that "has a mind of its own, wobbling around in a disturbing display of physics." Saints Row has it all, doesn't it?
- Star Scraper: The Syndicate Tower in barely misses the mark at having been calculated as 900-plus metres. It and some peers still far exceed ordinary skyscrapers and can be seen from almost all the map.
