RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic

RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is a video game and Updated Rerelease of the first two RollerCoaster Tycoon games as a single package. Players select one of many scenarios to play from, each with its own requirements, typically about meeting a specific metric by a specific date. Guests must be entertained through the development of a quality park, featuring rollercoasters, rides, shop stalls, or other amenities.
It was developed by Origin8 Technologies Ltd. with Chris Sawyer listed as executive producer in the credits. It was published by Atari in December of 2016. - The Alcatraz: The map "Prison Island" is a clear Expy of Alcatraz Island.
- All Deserts Have Cacti: The scenario Dynamite Dunes in the Graphite Group features a cluster of cacti near the edge of the map.
- Amusement Park: The goal of the game is to build and manage these.
- An Entrepreneur Is You: The player is tasked with running an amusement park.
- Digitized Sprites: Many of the assets appear to be the same digitized 3D models from the original games.
- Expansion Pack: Three are available in the mobile version as Downloadable Content. Their content is available in the home computer version.
- Great Wall: The Great Wall of China is featured in the scenario "Great Wall of China Tourism Enhancement".
- Isometric Projection: The graphics of the game use this, as in the first two RollerCoaster Tycoon games.
- Precap: The title screen shows gameplay from example parks.
- Public Domain Character: Robin Hood is used in the Time Twisters scenario "Robin Hood" where the Merry Men build a theme park in Sherwood Forest to get wealth from the rich.
- Real Time with Pause: The game operates in real time or sped up time, but it can also be paused.
- Updated Rerelease: Of the first two RollerCoaster Tycoon games.
