    Rick Dees is an American radio host. His Weekly Top 40 competed with Casey Kasem's American Top 40. Dees also contributed to the USA Today syndicated radio program, as an entertainment reporter. A One-Hit Wonder, Dees is best known for his most successful single, "Disco Duck", a novelty song which charted #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 during October 1976. Since the 1970s, he has been married to voice actress Julie McWhirter.
