Perfect Strangers (TV series)/YMMV
These things about Perfect Strangers (TV series) are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.
- Flanderization: Especially Larry Appleton. As time passed he became more centered on the arrogant-knowitall-cityboy-with-a-scheme aspect he occasionally showed in the earlier episodes, resulting in the show becoming too formulaic where Larry cooks up a plan (where he would say his Catch Phrase ) and then the rest of the episode will show how things get fouled up.
- Recycled Script: "The King and I," where a hypnotist unsuccessfully tries to hypnotize Larry but accidentally hypnotizes Balki into going under whenever he hears a bell ring. It's taken beat-for-beat from the story of an episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show.
- Tear Jerker: A few, namely when Balki suffered his first big heartbreak.
