- Dub Name Change: Apparently, the reason why the characters have English names in Europe (despite they explicitly say they're Japanese) is because the European publisher of the anime wanted to repeat the (insane) success that Captain Tsubasa got during the early 90s. Guess how were the characters of that series named in Europe.
- Hey, It's That Voice!:
- Light decided that he wanted to play soccer, but ended up fighting with Kira in an epic Battle in the Center of the Mind.
- Naruto is Endou; as well as Gomamon and Takuya.
- Goenji is Thomas H. Norstein
- Hiroto Kiyama is half-Finnish. Also, he's Nagasumi.

- Latin dub? Light is Gouenji, L is Sakuma, Midorikawa is Mello, Misa is Haruna and Takada is Hitomiko; Hanataro is Fubuki, and Renji is Burn and Handa[1]; Rika is Jade, Mandy is Gazelle and Goku is Kakuma.
- Also in the latin dub, Sena dropped american football for soccer and started to use dreads, goggles and a cape.
- Let's not begin with the Spaniard dub. The most curious thing about it is that a lot of the voice actors who dubbed Captain Tsubasa back in the day are back in this unintended Spiritual Sequel.
