Hermione's New Job by "tealruby"

  • Synopsis: In the wake of facing an almost unstoppable alien menace, a frustrated Hermione sick of the dead-end Ministry job she's in finds herself at the side of the Justice League -- and chosen by Hal Jordan to be his successor as Green Lantern.
  • Comments: A series of several stories, still being actively written at the time of this recommendation in mid-2025, that covers Hermione's recruitment, training, and first years on the job as the new Green Lantern of Sector 2814. Extremely well written, the series doesn't just focus on her superhero activities, but explores the changes to her relationships with friends and family -- and her new friends among Earth's superhero community and those adjacent to it. Highly recommended.
