And the Fandom Rejoiced can be argued. They tend to be regarded as one of the best dub companies out there; their translations are usually fairly accurate, they actually take note of the age demographic of the anime they take on and they listen and take on board fans feedback. Hearing that its Funimation, rather than 4kids or one of the other dubbing companies, usually gives fans of a series reason to sigh in relief and hope for the best.
Internet Backdraft: Despite having high-regards from the fans and a strong supportive fanbase, Funimation suing Sentai Filmworks and other companies over the sale of assets was seen as a very dickish move since the lawsuit probably hurt both companies in the long run. Expect lots of fans taking sides here.
