- The Character Died with Him: Doc's counterpart "The Captain" in the UK Adaptation of the show was only featured in the first two seasons of the show because of Fulton MacKay's unfortunate death. The Captain's nephew P.K. took over the lighthouse in Season 3. After P.K. left for the final two seasons B.J.introduced as the Captain's son.

- Hey, It's That Voice!: Many established Muppeteers performed in this show. That's Jim Henson as Cantus and Convincing John.
- Mona Marshall was the voice of Mokey and Cotterpin in the Animated Adaptation. Hilarious in Hindsight since both characters also shared an actress/puppeteer in Kathryn Mullen.
- Believe it or not, Rob Paulsen provided the voice of Boober in the animated series.
- Because he performs so many characters in this series (including the main protagonist), Jerry Nelson's voice is easily recognizable.
- Kathryn Mullen, who performed Mokey Fraggle on the show, also performed Kira in The Dark Crystal [1]. Mullen also voiced Allegra in Allegra's Window and Leona on Between the Lions.
- Wembley Fraggle sounds like a younger, more innocent Rizzo the Rat -- only without the Brooklyn accent. No wonder, since Steve Whitmire played both (and has even described how he had some problems making Rizzo's voice distinct from Wembley's).
- Townsend Coleman voices Gobo in the animated series.
- International Coproduction: With the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation and Britain's Television South.
- Missing Episode: Most of the UK version.
- The Other Darrin: Ma Gorg was voiced by Myra Fried in the first season, with Cheryl Wagner taking over the role in the second season.
- The Storyteller Fraggle was performed by Richard Hunt in her first appearance, with Terry Angus taking over the role after that.
- Short Run in Peru: HBO divided the fourth and final season into two very short seasons. Fortunately, although it took an agonizingly long time, the Final Season set has been released!
