• Ass Pull: Hermione's feelings for Ron in the sequel are canonical, but we saw no sign of them in the original when Hermione had no complaints at all about Ron getting his wand serviced by Jaiden.
• Non Sequitur Scene: The sex scene in Chapter 10, which appears out of nowhere, in a completely different narrative style from the rest of the fic, straight after Jaiden attempts suicide. It's removed in some versions of the fic, which might actually be for the better.
• Canon Defilement

• Critical Research Failure: "And what was worse was Ron had stolen her virginity, which she was saving for someone special, and he torn it from her so forcefully. What if he done it again?"
• Crowning Moment of Funny: "My preciousss," unintentionally so.
