Con Air/Funny
- "Why couldn't you have put the bunny back in the box?"
- On meeting back up just after the convict-run plane escaped the airfield, and seeing a car that looks suspiciously familiar get dragged through the air by a huge passenger plane...
"Isn't that your car, Malloy?" |
- Poe seeing a car hooked onto a cable, being towed behind the plane in mid-air, and being so overwhelmed already that he barely reacts:
"On any other day, that might seem strange..." |
- Cyrus's song to Larkin, after he shot the undercover agent.
"Ain't nothin' sadder, |
- As Cyrus has quickly thrown down the pieces of junk to make a simple diorama of his plan for trapping the agents on the way to stop them from leaving, he points out what each of them represents only for an inmate to point out a rock he'd accidentally included and ask what it is (meaning what is it a symbol of).
"...That's a rock." (Cyrus flicks it out of his diorama.) |
- "I don't think he's an astronaut."
- "Hi, Garland."
- (When Garland starts singing "He's Got The Whole World in his Hands") "Shut the fuck up, you freak! We're gonna die!"
- "You know what I am?" "Ugly all day".
- After seeing Poe meet up his wife and child finally, meeting the agent that stopped the plane from being shot down for the first time, and with us seeing all of the inmates arrested again (or dead, in a handful of cases), we cut to inside a casino to reveal that actually the worst of them, the serial killer Garland Green, has escaped, found a change of clothes, and is now mingling companionably with a crowd, already gambling with a drink in hand, enjoying his newfound liberty in Las Vegas.
"New Roller, new roller. Does the new roller feel lucky?" |
