  • Crowning Moment of Funny: "You Gotta Go Tell the Girl." A Disney sidekick song, brought to you by Owen and Noah.
  • Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: Most definitely the finale in Chapter 10, with the romantic lead-up and Ezekiel's victory.
  • Crowning Music of Awesome: Most of the lyrics are pretty good.
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Alien Cody became a big one.
  • Fridge Brilliance: Loony Izzy singing about the wacky world of Shipping.
  • Growing the Beard: The fic starts out solidly for a response fic to the DxG kiss scene, but only after delving further into the emotional complexities of the plot did the story start to really emerge as a product of its own.
  • Jerkass Woobie: Duncan and Gwen.
  • Memetic Mutation: "HAND OVER THE BRA OR DIE TEMPTRESS!"
  • Ron the Death Eater: Beautifully subverted; the fic initially looks to go this way (and was intended so per Word of God), but is plainly avoided due to careful Character Development for Duncan and Gwen.
