  • The bike-washing scene at the end of episode 5 gets unexpectedly steamy, and reveals the original mangaka's background in hentai.
  • In a blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment in episode 9, while the club is recruiting new members, Hijiri holds a sign reading "Bai shun" -- an abbreviation of what's on a sign Hane's holding, which reads "バイクで青春しよう!!" (Baiku de seishun shiyou!! -- "Let's enjoy youth on a motorcycle!!"). The expression "baishun" can also mean "prostitution".
  • In the clubhouse scene in episode 10, Rin (in the original Japanese) refers to "Team Naisho no Twintails". In Japan, there is a... let's just call it an adult-oriented self-entertainment product aimed at men which is called "Naisho no Twintails".
  • In another moment in episode 10, Hane's Accidental Innuendo when she unintentionally makes a Double Entendre referencing a clichéd Japanese expression commonly used by a sexual predator speaking to a girl in order to throw her off her guard. The gist of the cliché expression is "Only the tip (of my penis. I will not insert it deeply into you)". Crunchyroll, interestingly enough, translated it as "you can mount it but you don't have to go all the way", preserving some of the innuendo.
  • The bicycle companies mentioned in episode 11 are not only parodies of real company names, but also have risqué connotations.
